I had great fun at the KNAP P HEAD PRODUCTIONS GALA EVENT/ KNAP P HEAD MINI FILM FESTIVAL held on December 13, 2007 at the Center Stage Cafe in downtown Indy. Production Engineer, Kimberly Stephens penned one of my songs to be the soundtrack of one of her independent films. She happened to be at one of my performances when she heard the song,"Vera", and thought it would complement the images of the film. This short film is about a homeless woman. I'm thrilled to have one of my songs used in this way. It adds to the richness of the creative process. "Vera" is a tune recently written and will probably land on my next CD, but in the meantime a copy of " Tear Drops In A Dumpster" with soundtrack "Vera" can be purchased by contacting:

I think the price $5.00. The short film is appr. 5 min. Take care. Nick. |

"Nick combines familiar imagery with heavy themes such as chaos, love and redemption to emphasize it is often the simple moments in life that most alter us.
The guitars soothe like a lullaby, sway the listener with gentle picking to leave the listener sometimes surprised by the layered punches of intuitive emotion rising from each song. At times a sound so light you can’t help but roll into the easy going atmosphere reminiscent of a circle of friends parlaying on the beach, met with an intensity of lyric and thought that singles out the struggle if accepting human experience. Moments of gratitude and heart break coalesce the soft intensity to represent any number of soulful moments the listener may know in life. Perhaps finding a place where real life meets the dreams we have for it." - Rockwell Sexton |
